It is now a requirement under AS/NZS 5139:2019 that protective bollards are installed to safeguard Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) when located in a garage or any area accessible by vehicles. This standard ensures solar batteries are protected from physical impact, reducing risk and maintaining system safety. The Area Safe Solar Battery Bollard is specifically designed to meet this requirement, providing durable, visible, and compliant protection for your solar battery installation.
Standard powder coat colour is safety yellow - other colours, such as white, can be made to order (please enquire)
