About The Client

Radford College, located in Bruce, Australian Capital Territory (ACT), is an independent, co-educational day school providing education from Pre-Kindergarten through Year 12. Established in 1983, the college has grown significantly and is known for its commitment to academic excellence and inclusive community values.

The Requirement

To create a safer school environment with clearly defined pedestrian pathways, separating foot traffic from vehicles. Additionally, to provide a secure, organised space for storing student bikes and scooters.

The Challenges

• Safety Standards and Compliance: Ensuring that products meet safety standards for pedestrian pathways and vehicle separation is essential. This includes selecting barriers, railings, and walkways that adhere to guidelines for visibility and accessibility, creating a safe environment for all students.
• Space Constraints and Layout: Schools often have limited space, so selecting products that fit within the existing layout can be challenging.
• Durability and Maintenance: Outdoor school environments are subject to high use and varying weather conditions. Products need to be highly durable and low-maintenance to withstand daily wear and tear, as well as weather-related elements, ensuring they remain safe and functional over time.

After evaluating the challenges and requirements, the college selected our Modular Hand Rail System and Compact P4 Multi Bike Rack.
