The expansion joint cover plate is produced from 5mm thick galvanised steel and protects the sealed joint from ultraviolet attack and the physical damage caused by vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Does not substitute for water proofing. Checker plate style has smooth slots for uninhibited movement.

Expansion joint covers can be installed over existing sealants and are widely used in multi-deck structures, car parks, roofs, ramps, drive ways, etc.

Supplied with all fixings and includes rubber underlay to reduce noise.

Dimensions: 2400(L) x 297(W) x 5mm thick plate

Fixing Points: Slot is 50 x 14mm, hole ⌀14mm

Clearance: 25mm under hump

Underlay: 4.5mm fibre reinforced insertion rubber

Fixings: M12 x 65mm flush head bolt and washer

Weight: 27kg/ea
