About Woniora Road School

The vision at Woniora Road School is to ‘strengthen our culture of care, respect and empowerment by being committed to delivering a positive, supportive, enriching and engaging learning experience for all students.’ The school is committed to providing a healthy and nurturing education through offering additional learning opportunities such as VET courses. These courses not only assist with the student’s current education but give them an advance in their future careers. Co-curricular activities include their entirely student comprised school band, creative arts club, and choir group. To further assist students that require emotional support, recognising signs of anxiety, and helping improve concentration and communication skills, Orrick the therapy dog was introduced into the school community.

The beginning of 2021 saw major construction work to freshen up the entrance and exit of the school grounds. The works that were performed had been planned for some time to resolve the continual issue to make the entry and access to the school safer for pedestrians, and once inside the playground, it will be easier for vehicles to navigate through the driveway with less congestion. To achieve this, products such as those purchased from Area Safe are the appropriate and aesthetically pleasing method to reduce congestion and ensure the safety of all pedestrians is maintained.
