What are U-Bollards & what are they used for?
Area Safe Products has a variety of U-Bars and U-Bollards for many different purposes. The Pedestrian Holding Rail is used for public footpath and road kerb entry points. They are also now used on pedestrian island refuges too. The Single Hitch Bike Rail can be used as a bike leaning post or a small hand rail for pedestrian slow points or cross over sections. The Double Rail U-Bollard is used similarly to the Pedestrian Railing System but for shorter lengths. Available in lengths up to 2m, the double rail U-bollard is great for pedestrian and traffic, especially forklift, delineation. They are also commonly used around warehouse pedestrian or side exits to protect from oncoming traffic.
